Kemasik Beach
Located around 10 kilometres north of Kijal town, Kemasik Beach (Pantai Kemasik) is a beautiful and scenic tourist spot that you must visit if you happen to drive along the coastal roads of Terengganu.
This clean and picturesque beach is great for picnics, setting up camping tents, flying kites or just lounging around on the sand. You can also climb the large rocks on the beach and enjoy the view of the sea and beach from there.
There is a mini-park and playground near Kemasik Beach for visitors to enjoy. Once in a while, you might spot a cow or two munching grass in this area.
There are several food stalls in Kemasik Beach where you can buy light snacks and have a taste of the local food.
How to reach Kemasik Beach:
From Kuala Lumpur (by Car):
Take the East Coast Highway heading towards Kuala Terengganu. When you reach the border of the state of Terengganu, you'll pass through the town of Kemaman. Drive on towards the town of Kijal. Drive slowly when your reach Kijal because you might miss the turn into 'Pantai Kemasik'. Just after Kijal and a slight turn on the road, you'll see a a signboard that says 'Pantai Kemasik'. Turn right after the signboard and you've reached the beach.
From Kuala Lumpur (by bus):
1.) Buy bus tickets from Hentian Putra to Kijal, Terengganu.
2.)Do book your accommodations first. You can stay in Kijal or Kerteh, and take a taxi to the beach. If your hotel offer tours, ask if they have tours to Kemasik Beach. NOTE that hotels can be full during holiday seasons.
3.)Please DO NOT ask your bus driver to drop you off at Kemasik Beach. It's not easy to get around if you don't have a car. We recommend that you stay in Kijal or Kerteh (nearest towns) and either take a taxi or rent a car to the beach.
4.)For your information, Kemasik Beach is located between Kijal town and Kerteh town. Kijal is the town you'd see before you reach Kemasik Beach and Kerteh is the town you'd see after you've driven passed the beach for a while.

2.)Large rocks you can climb on, enjoy the view and chill out.

4.)Gaze out at the South China Sea.
5.)The mini-park and playground area.

2.)Kite-flying (you'd have to bring your own kite, though).
3.)Swimming.
4.)Playground area for kids.
5.)Mini-rock climbing.
6.)Camping
7.)Eating at the local food stalls.
